The five phases of the design thinking process via www.designthinkingforeducators.com
As mentioned earlier, I’m working with a small group of writing instructors this year to design GMU’s first online composition class, and as part of that work we are keeping a collective blog as a record of our design process. I posted there this week on educational problem-solving strategies, specifically the free “Design Thinking for Educators” toolkit. In the post, I suggested that my group use the kit as a model for our problem-solving process, and would be very interested to hear from anyone who has experience with this strategy—either with Design Thinking in general, or the toolkit specifically. Holler in the comments if you have a story to share.—KF
